Ignition interruptions in cylinders

The most common cause for ignition interruptions is poor contact in the wiring harness' male connectors. Usually the terminals do not lock properly for example if the terminal is connected in the wrong angle.

The place where the wiring harness has been installed to also effects the ignition interraptions. Check: "Installing wiring harness near high voltage components".

How to repair

  • Check the connectors
  • Check the ground
  • The polarity of the male connectors is wrong
  • The terminals of the male connectors are connected upside down. See picture. Some terminals may be "locked" if they are installed too deep into the male connector
