WHY DID YOU CONVERT IT TO RUN ON BOTH GAS & E85?
Having a daily driver V8 can be very expensive in fuel costs. Here in Southern California e85 is on average $2-3 a gallon cheaper than 91 so it was the first thing I wanted to get done once I got the car. After doing this flex fuel kit I save about $30 a fill up!
HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD YOUR 5TH GENERATION CAMARO?
I’ve had it since October of 2023. This generation of Camaro has been my dream car ever since I saw its concept photos.
HOW DOES IT RUN ON E85?
She runs sooo smooth. I can noticeably tell a difference in how the car idles and drives when I go from 91 to e85.
WHY DID YOU CONVERT IT TO RUN ON BOTH GAS & E85?
I heard a lot about the benefits of e85 as far as engine cooling and keeping vehicles fuel systems clean. The ethanol content in the fuel eats away at carbon deposits and other harmful contaminants. It’s like running an engine cleaner additive with every tank. I wish we could convert every vehicle we have here at JDF Performance!
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR OTHER FAVORITE MODS THAT YOU’VE DONE SO FAR?
As this car is my daily driver I wanted to keep it reliable, but also set it up for an occasional track day. Motor wise, I threw on an elite engineering catch can to help oil consumption. Suspension wise we installed Megan Racing coil overs, and Rohana wheels wrapped in Pirelli P0 tires.
ANY FUTURE PLANS FOR THE CAR?
Eventually I plan to do a full exhaust system, as well as go through the suspension and replace everything with stiffer components.

If your vehicle is compatible with a flex fuel kit, BUY IT!! You will not regret the purchase as it will be paid off in fill up savings in no time, as well add time to your engines life span. The piece of mind going to the gas station knowing I’m not about to break the bank is the best part.
