Limited Liability Warranty

eFlexFuel guarantees its products are free of manufacturing defect for 2 years of use. If you wish to extend the limited liability warranty to 5 years, please register your product here.

If you’ve recently purchased one of our products and believe it is defective, please follow these steps:

1. Have your proof of product purchase with the date, buyer’s name name, VIN or license of vehicle that your eFlexFuel unit is installed (REQUIRED) available before contacting us
2. Take photos or video to include with a brief description of the indicated issue(s).
3. Prepare correspondence that includes your contact information and shipping address then contact our support.
4. Understand that if the product is determined to have a manufacturing defect, we may either repair the product with new or used parts that are reliable or equivalent to new or replace the product at our option, and at no cost to the customer. If we send a new product, eFlexFuel guarantees the functionality of which is, at least, equivalent to that of the product returned.

Please note: It is up to eFlexFuel to determine, through its sole discretion, if the produc/kitt is defective in materials or workmanship. Warranties are non-transferrable and terms are subject to change. eFlexFuel may choose to refund the purchase price of the product, in which case the product remains with the eFlexFuel/StepOne or eFlexFuel may choose to repair the product. Repaired or replaced products are granted a warranty of 90 days from the repair or replacement. Repaired or replaced products may be of a newer version than the existing products and the version may differ from the previous one. We reserve the rights to have any changes, extensions, upgrades, and improvements made to the Customer’s equipment. Remedy limited to repair/replacement. eFlexFuel/StepOne makes no warranty with respect to vehicle emissions, emissions compliance, or components of your vehicle emissions system.

Disclaimers

Limited Liability: The foregoing remedy of component replacement is at the manufacturer’s discretion and is the buyer’s sole remedy.

This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty, expressed or implied. It includes replacement of the failed component. It does not include installation labor, nor does it cover any consequential damages caused by loss of use of the vehicle or failure of the component. This means this limited liability warranty does not cover damage or defects in the wiring harness and connectors if the initial retail purchaser transfers the harness or eFlexFuel unit to another vehicle. Damage to your vehicle, vehicle systems, other products or components not manufactured by eFlexFuel or StepOne to our high-quality standards are not covered. Manufacturer’s maximum liability under this agreement shall not, in any case, exceed the price of the product claimed to be defective. There are no warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
