Why did you convert it to run on both gas & E85?
OC: Performance and money. 91 octane is about $2 more than e85 in my area, I also had to run water/methanol injection to boost up the 91 octane fuel which added to the cost.
How long have you had your 3rd generation 4runner?
OC: Since 2018
How does it run on E85?
OC: Amazing! The Toyota 5vz engines when they are supercharged they are known to ping. Higher octane that comes in e85 has eliminated any ping which in return has given it more power. Not to mention the engine runs a lot cooler.

E85 has definitely benefited my wallet and having the flexfuel option gives me the confidence on continuing exploring remote places where e85 is not as available.
What are some of your other favorite mods that you’ve done so far?
OC: Long travel suspension and BMW F32 seats. The stock seats were the worst!
Any future plans for the car?
OC: Rear 3 or 4 link suspension. Exhaust.
Any final thoughts or shout outs?
OC: Every supercharged vehicle needs e85, your engine will thank you.
